I received a Pot Maker for my birthday this year and I have been so excited about getting to use it. I decided to go ahead and try it out yesterday. I made a bunch of pots out of a couple sheets of newspaper. I am happy to know it only takes a little bit of paper but I have actually been saving newspapers for several weeks now and have a stack of papers that now need to be recycled. Oh Well!
In about 2 weeks I am going to start planting my tomatoes and peppers indoors so I made up several pots. They were super easy to make.
- Step 1: Cut strips of newspaper. 3.5″ by 10″ or so…
- Step 2: Wrap paper around wood form, fold the bottom under and press into wood bottom.
- Step 3: Slide off of form and fill with seed starter or soil.
